Device License Key
This page describes the terms and conditions for using a Device License Key with the Dshield Pro app and related services.
The license key is intended for use by finance companies and mobile retailers to help secure loan funds associated with a specific device.
1) Purpose
A Device License Key links the Dshield Pro service to a single mobile device to enable security features that help protect financed units and mitigate fraud or loss during the loan tenure.
2) One Key • One Device (IMEI-Bound)
- Each license key can be activated on one (1) device only.
- The key is permanently bound to the device’s IMEI on first successful activation.
- Keys are non-transferable once bound. They cannot be moved to another device or reused.
3) Validity
- A Device License Key is valid for 1 year (12 months) from the date of first activation/binding to the IMEI.
- On expiry, continued use requires purchasing and activating a new license key.
4) Activation
- Activation requires an active internet connection and correct entry of the license key on the device that is being secured.
- By activating, you consent to bind the key to that device’s IMEI for the validity period.
5) Replacement & Exceptions
- If activation fails due to a confirmed technical error on our systems, contact support within 7 days of purchase with proof (error screenshot, purchase invoice, IMEI).
- In case of warranty replacement by the device OEM, a one-time reassignment may be considered at our sole discretion upon valid proof (old/new IMEI documents, replacement invoice). Unauthorized swaps are not eligible.
6) Acceptable Use
- Keys must be used only by authorized finance partners or mobile retailers for the stated security purpose.
- Any attempt to bypass, clone, resell, or misuse keys is prohibited and may result in suspension without notice.
7) Data & Privacy
Activation may involve reading device identifiers (e.g., IMEI) solely to bind the license. Handling of such data follows our privacy and security practices.

8) Support
For activation assistance, account issues, or potential errors, contact our support team at
dshieldapp@gmail.com with the subject line
“Device License Key – Support”. Include your company name, order ID, purchase date, device IMEI, and a brief description of the issue.
9) Governance
All decisions regarding activation, reassignment, and compliance are made at the sole discretion of
HARSAFE TECHNOLOGY FINANCE SERVICE PRIVATE LIMITED after review. Terms may be updated periodically.
By purchasing, activating, or using a Device License Key, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms.
